Our District
The Elko County School District is Nevada's third largest school district. Under the leadership of our Board of Trustees, Superintendent Jeff Zander, and site administrators, we are committed to high academic standards and achievement for all of our students.

The STARS Program is funded in full by generous donations by our partners KENV-TV Channel 10, Elko Federal Credit Union, and Barrick Gold of North America. Elko County Administrators Association Awards Scholarship Committee Chairperson for the Elko County Administrators Association DeAnne Glenn presented Levi Shelley with a scholarship for $180 to the Nevada Youth Range Camp. ECSD Board of Trustees President Thad Ballard presented Carlin Combined School Principal Janice Alexander her award. Elko County Administrators Association Recognizes Volunteers Chip Stone, TJ Mullins, and Cari Anderson were recognized for their volunteer work at a recent ECSD Board meeting.
