ECSD School Board of Trustees Meeting
The next meeting is January 6, 2026 in Elko. The meetings begin at 5:30 PM local time.
Jingle & Mingle Family Reading Night
The Jingle & Mingle Family Reading Night is December 9, 2025 with check-in in the Elementary lobby. We have almost 15 different reading activities available along with a hot cocoa and cookie decorating / tasting booth.
Mentor - Artist - Playwright
The Mentor-Artist-Playwright troupe will be here this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Classes will be treated to performances and learn some acting and speaking techniques.
Christmas Program
The school's annual Holiday Program will be December 17 at 6:00 PM. Come and enjoy festive music. Students will also receive gifts, courtesy of the Bob and Sandra Ellis Foundation and efforts from former principal Mike Strong.
1st Semester Ends
The first semester / 2nd 9 weeks are over on December 18. A finals schedule will be out soon.
Winter Break
Winter Break is December 22, 2025 - January 5, 2026. Staff development day is January 5, with no school for students. Students return on January 6, 2026.
TRIO Program
Students in grades 9-12 are eligible for TRIO. Students may begin the application process toward the end of the 8th grade if interested. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Imholte, ext. 2307 at the school. Katie will be at the school two days a week - scheduled Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Sports
The Braves travel to Rimrock on December 10 and play at 6:00 and 7:30 P.M. The teams travel to tournaments on December 12013. The Lady Braves play in Beatty and the boys travel to Ririe, ID.
Wrestling with go to the Ridgevue Warhawks Tournament in Nampa, ID, on DecembeR 12-13.
