Health and Medical

ECSD offers a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan. The links below provide a summary of the plans. Upon hiring, employees will receive a link by email to enroll in a medical plan of their choosing as well as an opportunity to enroll in voluntary life insurance plans. We will notify current employees when open enrollment begins and ends each year to make changes to their plans.

Effective on October 1, 2022, the Elko County School District will be moving from HealthSmart to AmeriBen.

This change in third party administration will result in all claims incurred after October 1, 2022, being adjudicated by AmeriBen.

As part of this change, your pharmacy benefit manager will become IngenioRX.

All ECSD benefited employees are also eligible for Teladoc. Teladoc gives you access 24 hours, 7 days a week to a U.S. board-certified doctor through the convenience of phone, video or mobile app visits. It's an affordable option for quality medical care. Whether you are a new user to this online service or have used it in the past, it is important that you follow these directions when you use the program. Employee Assistance Program

ECSD continues to focus on improving employee wellness through the KEPRO Intelligent Value Employee Assistance Program. It is available to all full-time and part-time ECSD employees, providing confidential, professional support for personal and work concerns at no cost.
